Executive Functioning Coaching for Kids, Teens, Young Adults, & Parents

Executive functioning refers to the mental skills we use to plan, organize, remember, start tasks, stay focused, regulate emotions, and follow through on goals. These skills are essential for managing everyday life—but they don’t always work as expected, especially under stress or in the context of health challenges.

Executive functioning difficulties are common in people with ADHD, but you don’t need an ADHD diagnosis to struggle with executive skills. Fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and medical uncertainty can all disrupt focus, planning, and emotional regulation.

Whether you're trying to build structure, support a student, or juggle responsibilities with limited capacity, executive functioning coaching at Elsie Consulting offers practical, personalized support that helps people follow through—without burning out.

This is real-life coaching for real-life challenges.

Who Might Benefit from Coaching?

Executive functioning challenges are common in many situations—not just in those with a formal diagnosis. Coaching may be a good fit for:

  • Teens who are overwhelmed by school, deadlines, or motivation struggles

  • College students navigating independence, time management, or academic demands

  • Adults balancing work, family, and daily tasks—especially with fatigue, pain, or mood challenges

  • Individuals with chronic illness who experience brain fog, mental fatigue, or difficulty managing routines

  • Anyone who has fallen behind at school or work and is struggling to catch up

  • Parents trying to support a child or teen who struggles with organization, follow-through, or emotional regulation—even if they don’t have a diagnosis

No diagnosis is needed to benefit from coaching.
